I just posted a piece that I’ve been working on for the past month or so. I have no clue what to name it, so for now it’s just “Romance Theme”.
What I was invisioning during the writing process was a girl riding on a train looking out a rainy window as the raindrops whisk by. A good portion of the song she is remembering back to the past; having flashbacks of a former love. She is pensive, somewhat anxious and hopeful. The train represents her journey to start anew (or running from her past), but ends up finding true happiness in the end. She unboards the train and falls into the arms of the one she loves and is at peace. Whether or not this man is the same she was daydreaming of – it’s up to you.
It was written as a film score demo. If anyone thinks of any creative names, feel free to toss them my way. 🙂 And sadly, because it’s a 7:00 minute song, I had to export the mp3 with a bitrate of 128 instead of 192 (192 is bigger, better soundfile). So it doesn’t quite capture all of the instruments as well as the full original stereo version.
P.S. I used my new 10 foot Fazioli grand on this recording – thanks to Synthogy’s Ivory. Beautiful. Even better than their Steinway.
